Debbie and the rest of the girls from the Hurricane Relief Team
from Sequim, WA. They stayed on a ship called "HOPE" during
the first night of Debbie's "Tour of Healing Hope!" The ship was
docked on the Mississippi River in New Orleans. Talk about tight
sleeping quarters!

The dolls were donated from the Child Development Centre in

This is all that is left of "Gulfside Assembly Church", the Historical
church founded in 1923 by the first Black Methodist Bishop, Robert
E. Jones. (Thank goodness, God's Church is much more than mere
brick and wooden buildings! The gates of hell, and even Hurricane
Katrina, cannot prevail against the Church of Jesus Christ!
Debbie and the Sr. Pastor of the Pentecostal Church
in
Waveland,
Mississippi. Debbie prayed over him and gave him her
music CD's,
a personal gift of "Healing Hope" for this precious shepherd, who
lost everything in Hurricane Katrina...everything but Jesus!
All that is left of a massive heritage home on the beach. Someone's
curtains are tangled up and hanging in the tree in the 'front yard'.
Debbie and her Hurricane Relief Team Leader Leslee relax on the
once-beautiful Gulf beach before heading to Gulfport for another
Concert! By this time, they'd seen so much devestation, that it was
time for some comic relief!
Debbie stands on the quiet Waveland, Mississippi Gulf Coast where,
two months earlier, Hurricane Katrina's 30 foot wall of water crashed
onto the shore obliterating everything in its path.
Debbie gives Wilbur his new CD player so he can play her music!
Wilbur lost his wife and his home in Hurricane Katrina!

UPDATE! This is Wilbur's NEW house!
